We stayed for a day and a half at Riverland Inn & Suites, and overall it was a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the highlight was definitely the view from the terrace overlooking the river — very pleasant and relaxing. Breakfast was acceptable, nothing special but enough to start the day. The only downside was the pool and hot tub area, which had a very strong chlorine smell. Because of that, we decided not to use them as it didn’t feel convenient. Overall, the hotel is good, offers fair value for money, and is a solid choice for a short stay. My final rating is 4 stars.

We loved our stay here. Included in their fee is a continental breakfast and access to their hot tub and pool. Would say their amenities are better than the 4-star hotel we stayed in VANCVR. A bonus of a nice mountain and river view. Lastly, accessible to markets and downtown. Just wished they cut the shrubs by the river so we could had better view of the mountain. But other than that can’t say anything bad. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Large room with kitchenette. Ground floor so very limited river views compared to the upper floors. Lots of outdoor seating and the basic breakfast could use some options like yogurt. Friendly staff.

The TV was not plugged in, then once plugged in it was not working. After a couple of calls to the front desk, the attentive clerk rectified the situation by replacing the TV. There was no shampoo, but 2 bottles of conditioner. Overall the price was good and there is a little kitchenette in the unit which is pretty handy for those budget conscious folks out there. The service was great, the location is nice being in the river, it was clean, and I’ll be back again. Good value.

Needed a reasonably priced place to stay in Kamloops on the way through. Price was reasonable so I decided to give it a chance. I was pleasantly surprised. Obviously this is an old chain hotel under newer ownership. The important point is that while older the property has been renovated and well maintained. The pride of ownership shines through. The location along the river is lovely, there is an indoor pool and hot tub and the free breakfast was above average. There are plenty of chairs, loungers and covered tables on the lawn facing the river. The a/c was already on when I got to my room which means a lot on a day nearing 36c. The area around the hotel is older and nothing to go on about. But for the price I am willing to drive the 5 mins to get anywhere in Kamloops I need to go. I’ve spent enough of my money and life in a hotel to tell you I’d take this place any day over some over priced chain hotel beside a strip mall. Overall it is clean, quiet, has excellent facilities at a very reasonable price. Will return.

Lovely little get away. It was off the beaten path and a little tricky to find but the view from the breakfast room was lovely. Rooms were small but clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was well taken care of and the attendant was right there making sure everything was stocked. Great place to crash our heads while we passed through Kamloops.
