“My wife and I wanted to “slow travel” for a few days and found this place on VRBO. It’s a 100-yr old traditional coastal home.
It is directly across the road (there is a convenient tunnel under the road) from Zaimokuza and Yuigahama beaches and there is a bus stop right outside the door for a 15 min ride to/from Kamakura Station. The #40 bus is reliable and easy. Don’t bother with a taxi.
It is also a 15-min walk to the Enoden train, which follows the coastline and goes to Hase and Enoshima……
“I think the location and ambiance of this hotel is perfect. All necessary amenities are provided. I love the little massage appliance in the room. The room is very clean and the minimalistic daily room cleaning is user and environmental friendly. Very good value for price. It would be nice if there’s a convenient store nearby though.”
