Echoing the other reviewers... Very very purple.
View 360 was a mixed bag. It's obvious that the rooms were designed to be luxury apartments, and that the hotel was originally done to a high standard. Unfortunately, general maintenance has suffered a bit.
The main positives are the amazing views of the surrounding valley, the decent facilities (pool and gym), and the 10am Monkey troop (very entertaining). The staff were also very helpful.
After reading the other reviews we decided to eat out most of the time, but when we did order the food was generally OK. The Bar and restaurant both close early (21:30), but that's sort of understandable given that there weren't that many guests.
The room itself was clean, but the balcony was definitely not (black feet/hands). The bathroom smelled like the kind of sewer gas you'd get if people had been eating a lot of Sri Lankan curry. They really need to fix that, I think other reviewers complained of the same thing.
Overall I think View 360 is worth the extra, and the location makes up for the relatively minor issues.
