Relax in our private upstairs two-bedroom unit. Each room includes AC, tv, mini-fridge and wet-bar with hotplate. Sip on your favorite beverage while enjoying the sunrise and sunset from your private balcony. Shared bathroom connecting the two rooms, with separate private entrances to each room. Small negative: The Kitchen lists an oven and a microwave. I knew there was no oven. I had inquired about the microwave about 2 months before our trip. The response was they hoped to have one but could not guarantee. A small disappointment as it safer than a hotplate & limited reheating or just making tea, instant oatmeal. Never found the laundryroom. Didn't need it but suggest signage. Many positives: Liked the door which separated the toilet & shower from the walkthrough bathroom sink/vanity. Gave needed privacy as we were not a couple! Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Appreciated the directions to the hidden road. Never heard other guests. We cleaned dishes, swept up and found where to empty trash. Weren't sure what was expected as there were no notes. Thank you for a relaxing time. Would have said Aloha but didn't know where to find you.

Live like a local

Tucked away and a little hard to find, this property was great way to live as the locals do. The rooms were nicely appointed and very clean. The balcony was a great feature for morning coffee. Easy access to the east and north sides of the island without the Honolulu traffic. Great communication with the property manager. The only criticisms are no table for dining (TV trays only) and the bed was a little too soft for my liking. I would absolutely stay here again.

Rural location

It was nice having coffee out on the balcony on the first morning. Loved the bird life and butterflies. The sound and smell of the lawn being mowed was welcome. The bed in one of the rooms was definitely not a queen size as advertised (a double) but very comfortable. The walls were pretty thin so easy to hear the guests in adjoining rooms but everyone was quiet at a reasonable hour. We requested a toaster early in our stay which we found in the hallway the morning we were leaving. You definitely need a hire car if you stay hear as everywhere is a decent drive away. Kailua Bay was not too far away and is absolutely beautiful. We went standup paddle boarding. Our daughters loved having their own kitchenette in their room.

Spacious accommodations

We were very comfortable here, with plenty of room and good supplies. We were very appreciative of the laundry facilities also. A lovely peaceful, quiet neighbourhood, with plenty of available parking. Our only concern is the driveway leading into the property, as it has many deep potholes in it, making it difficult to navigate safely.

Nice plantation house and fantastic staff

Nice property and in a pretty area. Caretakers at the house were very kind to our young family. Some rooms had adjoining doors which was very convenient. Thanks for a great stay!

Pleasant stay

We stayed here for 6 days. Clean and calm location. Everything in home worked as expected. WIFI and cable were a good bonus. A microwave and a toaster would be a welcome addition. Will stay here if I were to visit again.

Off the beaten track beauty

Emma was a fantastic hostess. She greeted us when we arrived. This place was out of the way, just what we wanted, away from the hectic area near Honolulu. It was very clean. It was secure. We enjoyed the sounds of the chickens in the morning, reminded us of home. It was missing a toaster and the outlet for the hot plate/coffee pot wouldn't work. We made due with the inconvenience.

Perfect for our one week stay

We used 2 rooms with a shared bath. Each room had its own frig, TV and kitchenette as well as a lovely balcony with chairs. We like the suburban location and view of the mountains. Would definitely stay there again. YB

Vacation in Paradise!

This place literally has everything you would need for a long term trip. The beds are comfortable and the rooms were clean. Being able to do laundry on site is also a plus. The scenery is a DREAM! Stores are maybe a quick 7 minute drive away. I would recommend this home to anyone and hopefully will be back again someday!

Nicely renovated home in an authentic Hawaiian neighborhood

Got to the house three hours before check in time and the rental was still being cleaned. They let us store our luggage in the home and we went shopping for supplies. Safeway is about seven miles away but there is a shopping center couple miles down. When we returned the unit was ready for us. Talked to the cleaning lady for about an hour, she was great. The neighborhood is totally a local sene and exactly what I was looking for. The back drop is an amazing mountain range that you can stare at all day. Will definely try to rent the space again!
