The room we were in the microwave was broken, the fridge did not work (even tried plugging it in in multiple outlets), the tv remote wouldn’t work so we turned the tv on manually but it wasn’t on the right input but because the remote didn’t work we couldn’t change it (no buttons on the tv other than power) and then the power button wouldn’t even turn the tv off so we just had to unplug it, the cover on the PTAC unit was broken and so not properly aligned so even on the coldest setting on high the room still didn’t seem to cool off much. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the room appears to be at a good standard of cleanliness and the bed is comfy. Probably wouldn’t chose to stay here again but it met my need for a one night stay before an appointment at the KU hospital down the street

Really liked the hotel and the bed was clean besides the fact you could see crumbs everywhere on the floor, mostly under the nighstand. Noticed my window was unlocked after sleeping all night and im on the bottom floor

We had booking for two nights, check in and went to the room it’s wasn’t that clean and the door didn’t have the top lock so we spent about 30 minutes and we decided to leave and the lady in the front desk said we can’t canceled because we spent 2 hours in there that was a fat liar than we didn’t like it neither we told her check your camera we check in around 5 clock and it’s 5:40 now so she said oh yeah that’s right but now we can’t do anything about so we told her that we didn’t feel comfortable and safe to stay there and we leaving I told her to cancel the booking for tomorrow and we left so that was Saturday we didn’t sleep in the hotel and on Monday I checked my bank account they took the money for two nights that I didn’t use I’m trying to call them nobody answered

I was very disappointed with my stay. Pictures on Expedia do not accurately describe the condition of the hotel. Just a heads up on the issues I encountered: - Wires hanging from ceiling where a smoke detector was supposed to be. - One bed had a huge part that was sunken in. Very uncomfortable. - Bathroom door did not close completely and door knob was about to fall off - 3 people reservation, but only two small towels. - Small and uncomfortable pillows (1 per person) - Fitness center heater did not work and was freezing cold - Breakfast was very basic. Juice from machine was nasty looking. Did not drink - Breakfast on Sunday opened 30 minutes late. - Window blinds did not completely pull down

I’d love to send in my photos. My room had stained towels, holes in the walls, the tub was stained and should be replaced, parking lot had not been plowed from the last time it snowed so the only spot that was clear of snow was where cars had been parked. The trash can out side the main entrance was over filled with moldy trash as well the main lobby was filthy. The worst place I have ever stayed. I’d like to see about getting my money back.

The thermostat in the air unit wasn't regulating correctly, the room was a sauna when I came into it and I had to use the A/C in January to cool it down. The mattress had a big indentation and needs to be replaced.

Front desk gave me a little trouble when I requested a room on first floor due to no elevator and a bad knee, but after asking to cancel reservation and go find another hotel she gave in and told me she had one handicap accessible room with roll in shower on first floor. I accepted, and when we went to our room it was a regular room with a tub which made me question her initial refusal at my request. The room was clean, but the common areas needed some improvement.

The photos don't even really truly match the place. Carpets are dirty. The bed was dirty. Everything was just disgusting, but the simple fact that every hotel in the area or even remotely in Kansas City that night was so expensive. That's the only reason why we stayed there
