This is a large Best Western across from the football stadium. There was juat one front desk agent on duty at checking in, and six other people ahead of me. The King room I occupied appeared clean, and the bedding and towers were fresh and clean. The pool is a generous size and Ienjoyed an hour swim. Breakfast is not ready until 7:00 am. It is beautiful and the extra hour wait was worth it.

We stayed here for a weekend of baseball at Kauffman stadium. It's wonderful to be able to walk across the street to the ballpark! The hotel is older, but well maintained! The staff is very attentive and kind; the one exception is housekeeping. We stayed 3 nights, and our room was never cleaned, even though we left the "please clean room" sign on our door every day when we left. They seemed to be understaffed in that department. Other than that the breakfast was great, the pool was clean, the rooms were nice, the location was fantastic for going to games!

Up front let’s just say this property is not new. It’s seen better days…however I recommend it. It’s clean, the staff is superb, and it had one of the best free breakfasts I’ve seen in a long time. It’s also conveniently located for an easy walk to the nearby sports stadiums.

Was not welcoming at all, very slow elevator, only one was in use. Breakfast said 6 on the website but sheen we arrived it was changed to 7am. Bathroom ceiling was leaking water and bathtub was clogged.

Hotel is nothing like it looks like on pictures. I ordered a 2 queen bed room, came there to check in and was told that they don’t have any 2 queen bed rooms available and only have a king bed room. The room had a urine smell in it, looked dirty, very tiny bathroom.

Overall, the property was clean, and the location is perfect for those attending a KC Chiefs and/or KC Royals game. The neds were comfortable and the staff, albeit understaffed, was accommodating, kind and had upbeat attitudes. However, it is not a 5-star or even a 4-star hotel, and there is not much else in the area. We would stay here again if we went back to see the Royals or the Chiefs play.

Property was located in a scary neighborhood with scary people even though its located across a 4 lane road from Kauffman/Arrowhead. Dog barking non stop next door and peopke yelling. People (not sure if they were guests) drinking in front of property and throwing beer cans. Apparently lawn got mowed during evening game (weird). Parking lot did not feel secure. Left hotel directly when game was canceled due to rain delay. Drove to Lawrence and stayed there.

We stayed at the hotel as it was in walking distance to the Royals baseball stadium. So, loved the convenience! Also really like the fitness center which was clean & well equipped. The free breakfast was also very good with lots of healthy selections and extremely friendly & helpful staff. Highly recommend!

It was hair all in the bathroom and bath towels. The handle in the bathroom was falling apart and the ceiling had brown spots look like they were trying to pain over it. The walls were thin I could hear my neighbors. Other than that it was good.
