Unfortunately there is construction in the property. Room was good quality. Had to wait on elevator excessively several times because laborers are loading furniture from rooms under construction. The elevator & hallways have debris & broken tiles & such from natural remodeling work. On top of that the main intersection is closed making access more difficult. It’s all to be expected with remodeling but I paid a few extra dollars because I’ve had good experience with this hotel. It was all disappointing.

I am very disappointed in Expedia. There was no mention of extensive remodeling project that was in process. Room had already been redone and was great but lots of dust, noise and flooring on first floor with sheets of plywood to walk on to get to elevator. I talked to another guest who agreed with me regarding hotel condition and also said that the website does not warn about construction. Would never have never thought Marriott would want customers to have this kind of experience at full price. 😡😢

Dec 3-4 2024. Took us an hour to find a way to the hotel from Shawnee. Road closures made us go very back roads through various neighborhoods. Noticed note in lobby saying construction would begin Dec 8th. We were woken up to construction sounding like it was happening next door. Why fill rooms in this area of the hotel? No warning for either issue was given online when I booked

I want my money back.

1) it states no where on hotels.com website or on the Marriott website/ app that a charge for incidentals would be placed on my card. I understand having a card on file for them. But if you’re gonna actually put a hold on a card, that info should be given proior. Not when checking in and there really isn’t any other option. 2) I checked out Monday morning at 7am. Why is the charge still pending? All yall have to do is cancel it. I’ve never actually been charged anywhere where I’m a member. Except at your hotels. Not sure if I’m gonna stay again.

All of our stay was good except there is not a free continental breakfast. For as much as we paid for our stay, we would have liked that amenity. I bought a glass of wine from the onsite cafe and it was $17. WAY too expensive !!

We average staying at this place twice a year when we attend a Nascar event. It is close by and is a very nice place. We have tried other places before but found that even though we may pay more for this stay there elsewhere it is worth it.
