No ramp to roll luggage up into the lobby. We were greeted by a lemon that was over the left side of the front lobby door, literally held up by loads of a bad scotch tape job.
We arrived about 9 at night and there was a person across the street that crouched down and hid in the hedge bushes and stayed hidden in the bushes for about 20 minutes. The girl working at the front desk looked on her surveillance and tried to tell me the person walked away. However, when we got to the room upstairs, we saw the person still in the bushes and we eventually saw the person leave when it was very dark.
We had to pay to park in the hotel parking lot, which was hard to imagine, because the place was very sketchy.
There was old pieces of dried food around kitchen sink. The tub water smelled like recycled sewer water.
About 6:40am, some man kept knocking on our door and after about 10 minutes, I asked through the locked door what he wanted. He said, “Mike.” I told him he had the wrong room. Then he said, “Heather.” I told him wrong room. He was clearly on something and walked away.
In the kitchen cabinets, the only items were mismatched styrofoam gas station cups stacked up, one of which had bite marks on it. The only other item was a long tube of bubbles, of which the lid on it had bite marks.
At first light, we were up and ready to leave, only to be greeted by an unusual smell in the front lobby.
We had 3 beds in our room. I’ve never had so many beds and so little sleep.
