This beautiful Pono Kai Condo Building H is steps from the ocean and the beach!! With a full kitchen, dining area, living room, private patio, pool, hot tub, tennis, exercise room, volleyball, BBQ grills, WiFi included, 3-mile bike path along ocean, Free parking, etc.

IT'S A NO-BRAINER!! BOOK NOW!!

This amazing 650 square foot, ground floor condo in Building H is on what many consider to be "the finest family beach on Kauai". Just steps from the pool and beach, this condominium provides the best location for island fun. No stairs to climb, just exit the lanai to the beach or stroll through the beautifully manicured gardens to the pool, tennis courts, croquet court, barbecue/picnic areas, fitness facility, and shuffle board. Take a short walk through historic Kapa'a town for great island shopping, food, and recreation.

This condo comfortably sleeps four people. The bedroom has a queen-size bed, plenty of storage, plus a flat screen TV. The living room has a queen-size Murphy Bed plus a flat screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pans, dishwasher, coffee maker, and microwave with a comfortable dining area. The condo was recently upgraded with beautiful new cabinets and counter tops.

For reservations longer than 14 days, we suggest a mid-stay clean -- additional $185 cleaning fee -- in which our housekeeper will refresh bed linens & bath towels, clean the unit, and replenish provided toiletries/supplies.

+ Parking is free and there are no resort fees.

+ A one-time cleaning fee of $185 to ensure the condo is sparkling clean for your arrival. For reservations longer than 14 days, we suggest a mid-stay clean -- additional $185 cleaning fee -- in which our housekeeper will refresh bed linens & bath towels, clean the unit, and replenish provided toiletries/supplies.

+ Our housekeeper provides a starter pack of toilet paper and paper towels. We DO NOT provide any personal hygiene items like body wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc...

+ If you happen to need any items re-stocked/refreshed during your stay, we would suggest that you purchase or clean them on your own. We can have our housekeeper refresh the linens, towels, and supplies but they charge us a $45 fee to do so which would be passed on.

Excellent Location, Maintenance, and Owner Response
We really loved our stay at this property. The room itself was clean and solid and the kitchen was super well-stocked. I'm so glad that they left a bunch of the spices and odds and ends that people probably gathered when they cooked in it, as all those things made the kitchen far more usable. Also, when we found that there weren't dishwasher pods in the kitchen, the owner actually gave us plenty of money in a refund for us to get our own, and since we were out so much, that was easy for us to do. They responded really well to our problem and were good about being generous on how to solve it when the housekeeper was across the island and unable to get to us in a timely manner. The hottub on the property was a great way to get to talk to a lot of other travelers. The location was right on the edge of a small town, with lots of fun stuff just in walking distance, and instant access to the main road around the island. And being at the mid-point meant that going north and doing west was equally easy. We've done Poipu before, but this was so much nicer, and more mixed into the actual residents of this island instead of just a resort dislocated from the rest of the island. I would so recommend this instead of Poipu, if you want to go to Poipu beach, it's an easy drive from here, too, and there are even beaches just on one side of the whole complex, some with protection from the surf to make swimming much less hazardous than on other parts of the island.

Wonderful stay at Pono Kai
This was our second stay at this condo and it was a great visit. The location is very convenient - right off the walk/bike path and a short walk to coffee, juices, meals, and shops. The unit was super clean and nice extras included (chairs, towels, etc). The grounds are meticulously maintained as well. Highly recommended!

Fantastic
Beautiful, clean grounds just steps from the ocean. The sun rise in the morning is the most amazing sight. It was our daughters 14th birthday- the resort offers plenty of activities, the unit is just steps from the pool, with laundry and bbq's just steps away from the unit. Jared is a fantastic host to deal with, answers questions almost immediately- and offers many tips on restaurants and things to see and do. Overall 11/ 10 rating. The absolute only negative i could possibly say is the patio chairs could use cushions. However, that by no means had any real impact on our vacation. The room was fully stocked with boogy boards, snorkels, lawn chairs and a cooler for snacks and drinks. I would recommend this property and unit to anyone i know who would like to visit the beautiful island of Kauai. Thanks Jared!

Great Property
Have stayed at the resort multiple times, not via VRBO. This owner has updated the property. We had an issue with the shower faucet and the owner responded almost instantly and made sure the issue was resolved. The communication was excellent. Liked the extras in the room that we were able to use; beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, and sand toys. Would definitely rent with this owner and unit again.

Beautiful property, convenient location!
This unit was perfect for our stay! It was super clean, comfortable, well stocked with essentials, and it had all of the extras needed for fun at the beach! The property was beautifully kept it even had a koi pond and hammocks strategically placed. We woke up early just to experience a phenomenal sunrise. The location of the unit is great, we walked to town for fresh fruit at the farmer’s market, delicious burgers at Bubbu’s, and a wonderful breakfast at Java Kai, This was a fantastic recommendation from our host Jared. Check in was a breeze, staff was friendly

The location was perfect and it was a lovely condo. My only comment is I think the owner was a little stingy with amenities; i.e., only two beach towels were provided, no salt and pepper, no sugar, only one laundry pod. Other things that were there were very low and we had to purchase new, i.e., coffee.

Emplacement parfait pour faire le trajet vers le Nord ou vers le Sud de l'île. Beaucoup de commodités à proximité (restaurants, food trucks, supermarché). Plage à deux pas. Piscine et spa bien apprécié des enfants. Elles y allaient directement du jardin. Très pratique ! L'appartement est fonctionnel et bien équipé. Les matelas et oreillers sont très confortables. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour pour la cuisine, pour la literie, pour la plage. On est allé avec une autre famille qui ont aussi loué dans le complexe : dans leur appartement, ils n'y avaient pas de serviette de plage, pas de parasol, etc. et le chech-in était beaucoup plus tard. Prévoyez des bouchons d'oreilles au cas où : les murs sont fins et les coqs sont partout sur l'île. Le complexe hôtelier est aussi bien équipé : machine à laver, sécheuse, barbecue, hamac, jeux extérieurs, salle d'entraînement... Check-in / out très facile. Jared répond très vite à ses messages. Très bon hôte. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

Wonderful Stay!
Our family had a wonderful time staying at this property. Both the booking and check-in were easy. Jared was very responsive and quickly answered any questions we had. The condo and Pono Kai property are beautifully maintained and quiet. We loved walking on the trail along the beach, the convenient bbq grills, and the central location on the island. The condo had everything you needed for a beach trip: chairs, boogie boards, towels, and a cooler! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again in the near future!

Exceeded expectations
We stayed three nights and found the property to exceed our expectations. The communication we received from Jared was excellent. The property was very clean and very well maintained and the location perfect for the experience we wanted (i.e., low key, less busy resort environment, good central location on the island). Everything about this rental was easy and convenient. The host was very helpful by providing information leading up to our rental and checked in with us once we were settled. The unit is clean and well outfitted for your Island holiday needs. They have what you need to eat in, and even better, they have what you need to go on your day trips. Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach umbrellas, pool noodles, beach mats, and a cooler! Super helpful on those long hot fun filled days at the beach. The complex is centrally located and offers equal distance to great beaches in all directions. The unit is a ground floor with easy access to parking and the courtyard (pool, hot tub, hammocks and more). Air conditioned in the living space and ceiling fans in the bedroom and eating area. Full TV and Streaming service with fast internet for those down times or to catch up on news or emails. Host wasn't overbearing and we felt at ease. We would stay here again.

Wonderful Vacation
We had a wonderful time staying at this Pono Kai property. It is in a great location near the beach and the walking/bike trail in front is super. We walked the 4 mile trail everyday. It has great ocean views and being build on the old rail bed it is nice and flat. The unit had lots of beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs and other toys. We found the location central to all the things we wanted to do. The parking was easy and close to the unit.

Just a short walk from the ocean
It is just a couple of minutes to walk from the unit to the ocean and oceanside pathway. Centrally located between the North and South sides of the island make it easy to get to both. The Murphy bed has a very comfortable mattress, far better than I expected which was very important for a two week stay.
