“The renovations look great! I have stayed at The PennStater many times and always have a wonderful stay. This was my first visit in one of the newly renovated king rooms. Love the new decor in the bedroom and bathroom. The only issue was a clogged drain in the shower.”

“The staff was the best ive come across! Super hospitable, care about what they do, take pride in their purpose and seems like they love what they do. Even though it was right on the main road, it was quiet because the air cinditioner offered ample white noise. The beautiful park across the street had great walking trails, a bridge over a dam, playground and nice big lily pond/lake. Kayakers were on the lake. Trail was well maintained and peaceful. “3rd time stayed here and great as usual. Would stay again. I rarely ever have issues with the hotels/motels themselves. It’s the other guests which are usually the issue with their lack of awareness to the noise they create. Or, in this case, the dog(s) they travel with that constantly bark when they leave them alone in the room. Not the dog’s fault, was probably anxious. This was in room right next to me so no way to cover that sound with anything else. Will just request next time to maybe not……

“This was a friendly, comfortable B&B to stay. There are a variety of rooms, one with a porch overlooking the river. The breakfast was hearty and delicious!”
