“If you truly want to get away from it all this is the place. Very quiet and tranquil. The night my was so vivid and beautiful! I could have sat outside all night. Location is off the beaten path but that was its charm. We lived our night there. ”

“This place was amazing. We loved the view of the volcano and the cleanliness of the accommodations. The host was spectacular. We needed to wash some of our clothes and the host offered to wash them for us. I would definitely recommend this place and wished we could’ve stayed longer. ”

“Excellent everything. 50 minute drive to New Plymouth each day so early start and late return. Great to return home each night to a lovely home. Had everything we needed to relax after a hard day at "the office" - Matatini. ”

“Beds were super comfy, kitchen is pretty well equipped and the bathrooms are lovely. There was, however, some things overlooked in regards to cleaning. Outdoor table was very dirty, much of the livingroom was dusty and there was no bin bag in the ensuite bathroom. Some.of the cutlery was dirty and there was an ornamental/fruit(?) bowl with mold in it. The fridge and freezer had a lot of old food left, much of which was expired, so that was a shame. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Just a few things……

“Was up from Dunedin for a speedway event and everything was top notch clean and easy access to everything. Would recommend staying at this place for a group of 5 or nore very spacious”
