Guest House on gorgeous tropical private 3 acre estate perfect central location.

Located on the Big Island of Hawaii, this detached studio guest house is fully furnished, very private, with vaulted ceilings on a beautifully landscaped 3 acre privately enclosed property. Property has a gated entrance with private gate code, grounds security system, over 40 fruit trees and 2 Koi fish ponds. Studio sleeps up to 5 (one queen-size bed, one full-size futon sofa bed, and a single blow-up mattress), has 1 bathroom with shower and kitchen with refrigerator, convection oven, 2 stovetop burners, coffee maker, blender, and all necessary kitchen cooking/eating utensils. Rental also includes a dual washer/dryer unit, clothes drying rack, armoire for hanging clothes, outdoor BBQ, outdoor patio seating and eating table for 4, fiber optic high-speed internet, smart TV, yoga mat, umbrellas and other essentials. Outdoor storage shed has 4 beach chairs, 3 beach umbrella, coolers, boogie board, 4 adult snorkel sets/2 child snorkel sets, volleyball, and beach toys that can be used by guests of the rental. Studio has a private entrance, parking spot for 2 vehicles, and 180 degree views of the 3 acre property and Koi fish pond from the patio. Pond area has 4 chairs, bistro table for 2 with umbrella, and 2 lounge chairs with umbrella for guests to use. This guest house is conveniently located 15 minutes south of Hilo and 10 minutes between the small towns of Keaau and Pahoa. There is also a grocery store and farmer’s market within 5 minutes of the rental. This is the perfect central location for all activities on the east side of the Big Island of Hawaii, including sites such as Volcanoes National Patk, magnificent waterfalls, downtown Hilo, and the famous black sand and green sand beaches.

Beautiful Guest House

This guest house was all we had hoped it would be from the photos - nice interior decor with a lovely lanai (porch), surrounded by green beauty. Amenities were all there with some nice extra touches, hosts were friendly and helpful. We left refreshed after our two nights and would love to visit again.

Secluded and Conveniently Located

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer's property as it was a secluded retreat that was still conveniently located near Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. We had two adults and two kids and the studio with kitchenette worked well for our purposes. It is also noted the kitchenette also was incredibly well stocked with every condiment/spice you could think of. The hot plate and toaster oven were both very helpful for basic meals at home. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed looking at the koi and chickens. No A/C but the fans and evening breezes made it comfortable for us. The hosts were very communicative and even gave us a heads up that an eruption was occurring. Probably theoat clear check in and check out instructions of any short term rental I've been too as well. Would definitely stay here again!

A Little Slice of Paradise on the Big Island

We absolutely loved the property - it was a peaceful, tropical retreat. The guest house was super clean and very well provisioned and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. There were pineapples, papayas, plumeria, orchids and so much more. It was so relaxing to sit on the lanai in the evening with a cool drink and listen to the sounds of the tree frogs and the burbling of the koi pond.

Great Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It had everything we needed and was one of the neatest and cutest guest houses I’ve ever stayed in. The garden was beautiful—I especially loved having my morning coffee next to the koi pond. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

Amazing 2nd stay!

Returned for a second time to this beautiful property for a quick baby moon with my husband. I was just as pleased as I was during my first time here on a girls trip with my mom and sister. The property was clean, well equipped, and serene. It’s off the beaten path but private and relaxing. The hosts truly have thought of it all and we definitely recommend their rental.

Cozy retreat in the country

We had a great stay at this guest house. The location was quiet and relaxing in the country (so much better than staying in town in Hilo), and it was near enough to the Volcano National Park which made for a great drive. The hosts are available if needed. It's a beautiful property with nicely landscaped grounds. The guest house is lovely, well maintained and very clean. It's highly recommended to stay here!

Aloha style and spirit

Aloha,This is a wonderful property to experiance. Jeff and Jennifer thought of everything we would need to complete our stay. The guest house was charming and very clean. The property was very nicely landscaped too. we enjoyed sitting on the lanai and listening to the birds and frogs.The only thing that I should mention is that there is a very large chicken coop near the guest house. The roosters woke my husband up at 4:00 a.m. So, brings some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise, I loved this place and would stay there again!Mahalo,April and Ray B.

Comfortable accommodations along with immaculate landscaping makes this home away from home one should not pass up. This far exceeded our expectations and is a best value. Perfect Couples Retreat

We stayed here a few nights during Hilo side of the trip. Really great property that felt secluded but still close to food and grocery options. The property owners were very friendly and helpful with local recommendations for us. We would stay here again.

Great little place tucked away from the busier Hilo area. Probably a bit better suited for 4 than 5 given the overall size and having to use an air mattress. Owners were nice and let my kids feed the koi, which was exciting for them.

Best Stay Ever

This guest house was the most wonderful and beautiful place I have ever stayed. The peaceful koi pond and fountain were so calming, and the grounds with the beautiful gardens and fruit trees were such a gorgeous backdrop. The pictures don’t do the estate justice. It’s beyond words. Jeff and Jennifer were incredibly kind and thoughtful and very helpful with suggestions of how to make the most of my time on the Big Island. The bed is very comfortable, and the house was so tastefully furnished and decorated. It has everything you could need and more. There is even a ukulele, which I played a few times! When I wasn’t out exploring, I spent most of my time sitting on the porch taking it all in. Truly did not want to leave. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to return!!

Secluded paradise!

Immaculate garden and studio guest house; very clean and comfortable with all immediate necessities; peaceful and secluded; friendly, low key and communicative owners. We had a wonderful two night stay, a perfect place from which to explore the western side of the island. The location is away from town, very relaxing, with stars, stars, stars... We have already told many friends, and will return.

Very nice property, great hosts.

Very nice, large gated property with friendly hosts. Guest house is a large single room with queen bed as described. There are penned-in chickens with roosters that will crow in the morning. At night you'll hear coqui frogs and other typical night life but it's fairly quiet inside with the windows closed. I did have to find and relocate a very loud coqui frog that took up residence in the Y-support for the overhang close to a window. There's no stove but there is a mini microwave, hot plate and large toaster oven. Standard refrigerator had some supplies including milk and peanut butter and various sauces. No AC. Fans only. Good, mostly quiet location to many local points of interest. Storage container outside has some snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrellas and water toys. Very nice, personal experience.

Quiet guesthouse on beautiful property

Our family of 3 loved our stay at the guesthouse. The house was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed the view from the lanai over the lush property. Our daughter especially loved feeding the koi fish and chasing frogs.

Incredible oasis in your own little paradise!

Words cannot describe how amazing the owners make you feel here. Truly unique setting outside of Hilo with all the little touches taken care of by the owners. So peaceful and tranquil, you will never want to leave.
