The hotel is in the process up upgrades. Our request for flatter pillows was met with complications. We finally received somewhat flatter pillows but there was a big language barrier. (Requested toilet paper and got paper towels,etc.) The restaurants (Maestro and Lakeside), were exceptional both in quality and presentation and cleanliness. I wish the “resort fee” was disclosed upon booking my reservation on line. The guests in the adjoining room had LOUD sex (absolute screaming from 12 midnight till 1:00am) on the last day of our stay. So much for the realtor convention… All in all, one cannot complain about the lovely grounds, dining patios and overall appearance of the grounds and outdoors. It was heavenly. There was a lot of construction in the bldg. and around the outdoor pool and gym facility which should have been reflected in the price point of $300/room. The lakefront is the most relaxing venue and provides so much enjoyment with the marina and outdoor patios. I would suggest a bench for the guests waiting for rides or Uber pick ups at the front door of the Mantaeo as well.

My new go to place to stay when visiting Kelowna. The lakefront rooms and suites are very spacious and spotless with the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Also having my own private balcony to watch the sunsets every evening was a definite highlight of my trip. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to book another stay here!

We absolutely loved our stay!! We had a lakeview room and felt like we'd gone away somewhere tropical. The staff in the hotel and Wellness Centre was amazing!! We also loved the stone pizza at Maestro's. The hotel gifted us a delicious piece of cake for our honeymoon. Such an unexpected treat!! We cant wait to come back for our 1st Anniversary!! Thank you to all your staff for making us feel special!! We gave the facilities a lower mark only because the ice machine wasn't working and they're undergoing renovations. It will be amazing when its done!

The resort was in process of renovating. Got the fourth floor for the lakeside view. View was absolutely stunning to look at outside. The resort location is ten minutes south of the downtown Kelowna side. We arrived early and inquire about early and able to get in 50 minutes before 4 pm check in date. The resort fee is $30 as extra per person. Room is quite big. Overall, recommend to stay this place next time.

Amazing staff, good room, and decent food. I was just unaware of the 234$ of extra charges they put on my card. They said it was only 64$ at the till and got that. I love this hotel. So peaceful and outside of busy downtown area. Lots to do on the property including a beautiful boardwalk. Service is great!

Property generally good. Bath tub hard to get in and out of no safety railings . Inadequate bathroom supplies no shampoo.

1. Understaffed at the front desk at times. 20 minute waits are not acceptable. 2. Small rooms with very little insulation. Can hear too easily conversations from adjoining rooms and music from the banquet room below. 3. Dining options not convenient. Especially for families. 4. Only one gym — if you can call it a gym — and pool open and it was the one in the Eldorado. Over 2 days, I was forced to walk back and forth 5 times to the front desk as they kept giving me key cards that would not let me into the Eldorado pool & gym. I am a personal trainer and certified boxing coach, so I need access to fitness facilities. 5. For some reason, the cleaners decided not to clean a number of rooms on my floor claiming that the “do not disturb signs” were on the doors. Only one room had that sign on the door. The notice also enabled the cleaners to skip the room if there were personal articles on the bed. Why would you skip cleaning a room if there is a jacket lying on a bed? Sounds like an excuse. Well, they missed their tip yesterday. 6. The staff is nice. That is the one good thing I can say. I used to love the Manteo when I stayed there at least several times years ago. I hope that things will be better when I return to their sister hotel — The Eldorado — on June 20th.
