“The home was a nice place for our stay while visiting our son for his graduation from UC Davis. We also wanted to visit lake tahoe while here. The home was clean and located in a quite location. Has a nice view of the hills nearby and we saw deer, rabbits, quail , and plenty of turkeys every day.”

I contacted the host to clarify check in details and directions before we left, and we had no problems. Kathleen gave us very detailed directions, and she always answered my messages promptly. We had a great time visiting with family!”

“This was an excellent location for a retreat. It was expansive with plenty of places to gather and to be alone. There were plenty of large bedrooms and private bathrooms. The kitchen was perfect for group meal preparation. The game room was a fun space to turn off the work and enjoy some recreation.”

The house was spotless, and the owner was incredibly friendly. It was also conveniently close to downtown and local attractions.The only thing the house needs is a better WiFi. “We had a large 5 family group celebrating the end of our homeschool year learning about CA history. This was a perfect central location for that! We visited Sutter's Fort, Sutter's Mill, The Capital, RR Museum, Gold Bug Mine & downtown Placerville. The house was perfect for the families with kids that ranged from 1.5 to 16y.
