“The Evergreen is an exceptional property that is still being renovated but is open for business with limited interruption. We were very pleased to see that the restaurant in the hotel is award winning but missed the opportunity to actually taste the food since they were closed while we were there. Augusta is a hard surface city with many renovations taking place. What I mean by hard surface is that many of the building are made of granite. Evergreen’s red exterior stands out in an otherwise safe……
“The Inn was expertly maintained. The innkeepers were knowledgeable, helpful and always available to their guests. We could tell immediately that the they spent quite a bit of time thinking about how to make their guests comfortable and enjoy their time at their property.”
“An excellent property, clean and well kept. The night I stayed the Expedia was literally 1/3 of the major chain across the street where I usually stay. There was a little computer glitch which threatened to delay the checkins of myself and another guest. But when the other guest mentioned he needed sleep for an early morning job, the host managed a work around to check us in expeditiously, even though it meant extra work for him to follow up with our paper work. I will definitely choose this……
