I saw the property online and saw great reviews and great photos. I travel to hotels weekly in thebsurrounding area.
I understand the property is under construction, and many of the amenities are closed.
I had a warm greeting from Zack at the front desk, as he let me know of other great restaurants and locations to visit.
I booked a single queen room with a water view.
The room was quaint, and some of the features were newer. The room was quiet while being located next to the elevator.
The cons outwayed the good.
I had a view of the river, but the screen to the window was busted, as if someone tried to snap it on half. So many bugs and webs over the window screen there was a hard time seeing out. I couldnt have the window open becuase oh the amout of bugs on the screen.
The recliner in the room, was so small i couldnt get it to recline length wise, without it popping back up.
The shower head had sprung a leak in the shower head itself, not the coupler to tighten it.
This looks like is had been neglected for a long time because it was spraying the ceilong and wall, and had been covered with many coats of paint.
The tv remote was broke.
The breakfast buffet... was not at all up to standard. I was greeted by an employee around 730am an hour and a half after breafast had started. The options were biscuits and gravy or a prepackaged waffle. The waffles were prepackaged, and hard. The biscuits ar gravy were ok. Fruit salad from a can. No eggs or meat options.
