“What an adorable little place by a picturesque stream.”

“This was a great spot for our family vacation. The house was so spacious and clean. It had games, a pool table and a tv we never even turned on. It is so close to the beautiful lake. The sounds of nature were so beautiful and relaxing. It is so quiet you can hear every bird! The house was so well stocked with everything you need to make your meals. The beds are so comfy, and rooms so nice and welcoming. Great communication before, during and after by the owner. Highly recommend this……

“This is a quaint house right on the river. The host is great and responds immediately. Unfortunately we had a storm that caused a power outage for 24 hours, but we made the best of it. We would definitely stay there again.”

“We’re a family of 16: 8 adults and 8 children ages 3-13. This is our 3rd summer to rent a house together. Everyone said that the Hilltop Farmhouse is the best house we have ever rented. The pool was the highlight and it was so nice to swim without the bright sun. The kitchen is amazing with a commercial grade refrigerator and a regular refrigerator. The living area is perfect for a large group with great seating for all. The sleeping arrangements were perfect and the beds very comfortable. The……

“Our stay was great even though it rained 3 days we were there the house is very cozy and if you open up all the blinds it’s like you’re still sitting outside! If you have a dog this is a perfect place to set them up with a long lead and let them hang outside with you or walk the property with them which our dog never got old of! Definitely will be staying here again in the fall. ”

“We absolutely loved our stay here. The cottage was very clean and decorated nicely. If it had rained the entire time I would have been happy to stay inside and read by the living room window. We even had an issue with a door (our fault) and they were so helpful and responsive when we needed help. The water is less of a “lake” and more of a shallow pond but it’s beautiful nonetheless. The towns nearby have amazing food and friendly service. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. ”

“Glad we chose this spot to stay. Host Bob is fantastic. He'd even let us use the sup board and kayak. Great view over the lake.One downside: our neighbours were very noisy. They had a dog and also decided to turn on the television at 05;30 in the morning.”
