“Very "basic" lodging close to airport. Google Maps is accurate. Small room but very clean. No aircon but ceiling and standing fans. Very nice staff. There's a TV but it's not plugged into any cable or satellite box (at least mine wasn't). You could plug in your laptop if you have an HDMI cord. Good WiFi .Good hot water. No bottled water or bathroom amenities to speak of. Basic breakfast brought to your room. It's quiet. It's inexpensive. It's safe. It supports a local small business.”

“The pillow in the hotel need changed, I can see the brown colour of the pillow, bathroom is dirty and sewer was block, when you have shower your feet is in the water. And there is no warm water.”

“Deep Sea Resort was a great place to stay in Kitale - our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights when visiting Mt. Elgon National Park (~1 hour away from Kitale). The rooms, dining room and pool were clean (although the rooms smelled a bit musty), the staff was super nice/polite/helpful, the breakfast was delicious (eggs, pancakes, samosa, yams, fresh fruit and coffee) and there is a restaurant for lunch/dinner as well. The bed was fantastic - best night's sleep I have had since I arrived in Kenya……

“ This place has no contact on their web and no clear sign showing where it is if it is there! My lyft driver and I when to the location on the map only to make circles. We even ask and nobody seem to know anything about it. We headed back to the airport where I spend the night sitting down.”

“The facilities were incredible. Like luxury hotel. I slept like a rock. My only complaint was a sketchy young guy who was clearly trying to scam me trying to be 'helpful' and trying to get my number. Otherwise it's incredibly cozy.”

“Lovely and clean rustic place including room and common area. Love the detailing to the space, better ambience than in a hotel! We could easily park our car safely at the space outside near the garden within the house compound. Cosy and clean bedding, equipped with electric kettle, fridge and cooking place. Good WiFi, could shower comfortably in the bath. Highly recommended!”
