“We enjoyed our stay at the River House. It was just what we needed! We spent most of our time on the covered patio catching the breeze and watching the barges go by. If you are looking to rest and relax.....this is the place for you. The owner, Ryan was an awesome host. We will be back!”

“My husband and I stayed here a couple of days with our two Chihuahuas. It was charming staying in this historic house. This home has so much character from the cheery and bright sunroom to the inviting family dining room. Relaxing in the living room and watching TV allowed us to decompress from our travels. The front porch is awesome but due to weather we were unable to use it. We loved parking our car behind the gate it made us feel more secure about our vehicle. Eateries were near by making……

“We loved the house, decor and location. Although not used, the home provided plenty of toiletries and hygiene products for the guests to use. The location was perfect for our downtown convention. As noted in previous reviews, the house across the street looks like a junkyard. However, the occupants didn’t bother us, but is an eye soar. Also please note that the two twin beds in the sunroom are not separated. It’s actually a daybed that pulls out into a full size bed. So it’s like sharing a bed……
