Cute 2 bedroom Kombi cottage

Cute, cozy Kombi cottage in rural Kerikeri setting, yet only five minutes from the heart of town. Wake up to the sound of birds in this awesome cottage, our little slice of heaven, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Sit back and relax, or visit the near by waterfalls. Enjoy the local cafes or visit the vineyards for a delicious lunch. Easy access to the airport, with a local taxi service, Kerikeri has so much to offer. Two bedroom cottage decorated throughout with Kombi treasures, a unique place to stay. Enjoy a BBQ on the deck or head into town for dinner, so many choices. Head to the local market on the weekend for coffee and scones, while browsing the many stores. Great place to unplug and relax, no wifi. Kitchen with microwave, fridge / freezer, air fryer (no stove /oven) and gas BBQ. All you need to unwind and relax. Bathroom with shower. TV with DVD player and heaps of movies to watch (not a smart TV, we like to forget the outside world!) Time to enjoy nature as it’s truly meant to be!! Sorry, no pets.

Comfortable and quiet
We enjoyed our stay at this 'kombi' themed cottage - accurately described on the website and without any interruption from the outside world. A couple of points we feel would make it even more comfortable;As advertised, the TV is only connected to the DVD player and there is NO 'free to air' TV stations or online sites available. We think access to 'free to air' channels (TV1, TV2, TV3, etc) would be a great improvement.The beds had sheets with Winter weight duvets but there were no Summer options available for those warm/muggy nights, apart from just a sheet. It would be nice to have a light blanket or similar 'in between' option.It would be nice to have a shelf or coat rail in the main bedroom wardrobe.It would also be nice to have a small table or similar in the bedroom on which to place a suitcase or travel bag.Although there was a BBQ, Microwave, Air Fryer and electric jug available it seemed odd there was no toaster to compliment our breakfast needs. We remedied by this by purchasing and donating one to the cottage.These points are not made to degrade the premise - just ideas that may add to the overall serviceability and comfort of the place. Appreciate your understanding.

Bach of the Day
Would recommend to anyone, enjoyed the great views , bbqs , in a warm cosy lil bach with some great memorabilia. Great host , the family is looking forward to coming bk .
