“Family went to Kernville to enjoy some rafting on the Kern River and drive up to the Sequoia National Forest. Despite every day being over 100 degrees, the A/C kept the cottage cool. The beds were comfortable and Erin was great at communicating with us. Even alerted us that our route out of town might need to be changed due to an unexpected road closure.Downtown, Circle Park, all the restaurants were all walkable and within 1 mile maximum. “The Spartan trailer was 1955 error no gas but had electricity had a gas griddle barbecue style outside on a big redwood porch. Not too far from town walkable within 15-20 minutes. 5 acres spread horses hot tub and someone to communicate with if you need be. Very quiet. Where we stayed there was other properties to rent much bigger and more modern on the same address. Thing to think about is it was a great stay quiet relaxation for the weekend that we needed it for I appreciate all the……

“We loved our stay at Keen River House! The house itself is beautiful, comfortable, stylish, and equipped with everything we needed. It’s a two-story house with lots of space for relaxing, with two kitchens, comfy bedrooms, and great energy and atmosphere. The outdoors is a garden comprised of native trees and plants, several places to relax and observe nature, a barbecue grill and a table, and a couple of fishing spots by the river below.
