“The property was lovely, and clean. A great location with good amenities. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. We have stayed at lots of homes as an extended family group and this was great, with a good location. Only criticism would be that 9:30am is the……

“Great location, well stocked kitchen. Nearby kid friendly activities like the Lake District Wildlife Park. We would definitely come back for longer. The walls are a bit thin but (I have never stayed in a lodge before so this is likely very normal). It didn't bother the kids at all at night and they slept like logs. ”

“The cottage has a lovely location nestled in the trees and with great mountain views. The interior spaces are on the whole comfortable and well equipped, except for the bathroom which is very small. “The cottage is very well equipped, has great views and a comfortable lounge. Despite feeling away from it all you are only a 10 minute drive from Keswick (and also has a good bus service if you want to leave the car behind). We took an amazing bus ride over the Whinlatter pass to Buttermere then on over the Honister pass and up the valley alongside Derwent Water. It is in an ideal spot for walking the Northern Fells and being accessible for the bars and restaurants in Keswick. Be aware that……
