It was so nice to find this small hotel on the Keywest trip. It was very convenient to shop or to walk around the area. We also like to have an excellent breakfast in the garden of the hotel.

Excellent place to stay

Duval House is a great place to stay. Comfortable room, “classic furnishings”, leafy and lush. Staff friendly and helpful. My only issue is the breakfast - not up to par with the level of the rest of the property. The management should up their game on this aspect of the experience. There are many breakfast choices nearby however.

Being on Duval Street, it puts you close to dining, sightseeing, shopping, and nightlife, but once you go through the gate and you’re on the property, it’s like you’re in an oasis. It has beautiful shaded gardens, it was lovely! The property is old (which adds to the charm) but there is no elevator, so if stairs are an issue ask for a ground floor room. We would definitely go back.

I highly recommend. The location was ideal, close to restaurants and Ernest Hemingway House. Our stay at the Duval House was mostly pleasant.

We stayed at Duval house for 2 nights in mid May. The hotel is a historic building on Duval Street and while it is quite old everything is clean and maintained to a high level. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and offer a free welcome drink (water, beer, seltzers). You may also purchase beverages for a very reasonable price. The location is very convenient as you are right on the edge of the really busy parts of Duval St. It was quiet at night but, close enough to walk right to the action. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we would return.

The staff was super friendly. Easy check in with a complimentary cold adult beverage. The breakfast was an assortment for everyone's taste. The gardens were beautiful however they come with pests i.e. caterpillars, flies that enter your rooms if you don’t close the doors quickly. The rooms / bathrooms were clean . Location was perfect. We would stay there again on our next visit to the Keys.

A charming place to stay -we had a standard queen with porch. It was great bed was comfy nice pillows . Property was beautiful a hideaway right on Duval . Pool was also nice . Bathroom was tight but clean and nicely appointed. Breakfast included was outstanding staff lovely. Parking is $30 they offered an alter at lot that was $15 a day but was 1/2 mile away. Location was great right near everything. There was a mix up with my reservation but I believe it was Expedia I clicked on the porch room but it booked a different room be careful there . Luckily The hotel was able to get me the room I thought I booked . Would love to stay here again

This property was older, but very well maintained and full of charm. The gardens were beautiful and just added to the overall experience. You can step out right on Duvall street, or sit at a table within the property and people watch Duvall street. The breakfast features fresh fruit and fruit and yogurt parfaits in addition to other options. The fruit is cut freshly each morning by the kitchen staff who are super accommodating. We will definitely be back to this resort

Duval House is a nice place to stay. Although it might be noisy late at night. Our room was close to the entrance so we heard people speaking sometimes. The garden is beautiful. Breakfast was disappointing. I'm plant-based and had nothing to eat other than black coffee and fruit. Duval House is relatively far from beaches (20 min walk, beware, it adds up and becomes tiring) but close to bars and nightlife.
