The property is decorated in retro and the room was very minimal. Not my style. Too far from Old town so we had to take an uber since they don't offer any shuttle or suggestions on how to get there. Would pass on going again. The beach was not nice at all, very mucky

When first built this resort was likely amazing. It is pretty beat up, inside and outside the rooms. All needs an upgrade. Very pricey considering it is not walkable yo main activities and in poor condition. Staff was not very helpful and didn’t honor Expedia deal we all used to book and changed more fees.

Super friendly staff. Made check in a breeze. It’s an older but, super cute resort. Complimentary breakfast and coffee was an added bonus. Pool was clean and welcoming. Open air restaurant and pool bar was great and loved that the kept the vacation vibe with music. Will be returning!

It's a lovely spot - not "downtown" but that was nice too! Shopping and restaurants very close. The shuttle was great, as were the staff and their own restaurant. We walked to the historic area many times too...it gets your steps in!

This hotel met our expectations. Loved the decor, hammocks, restaurant,tortoises, birds, pool, activities and staff. We really enjoyed our stay!! Checking in we were greeted with a very nice and knowledgeable gentleman. He was so helpful in every way. Food was delicious. We rented wave runners and golf cart. We absolutely loved the wave runner tour and had THE best tour guide. He put our safety first above all. Was very educational and just really made it fun. I so can’t remember his name but we went on 5/10/25 at 1:30pm. He really deserves recognition as they are lucky to have him.

Rooms were clean but much smaller than anticipated. The shower is extremely small with no water pressure and as a woman with longer thicker hair this was tough to wash my hair. We booked a queen room, it definitely was not but it was a comfy bed. I was very grateful for the air conditioning but the unit turned on every minute or so and it was beyond loud and it was very difficult to get a decent night sleep. Definitely an older hotel and a little run down and outdated and for me wasn’t worth the price. Would have spent another $100 per night and stayed in a much better place. Also was not pleased that I was told before I booked that there is a shuttle service to downtown and then to arrive and be told that there is not.

This place does a good job with inviting pictures. When we pulled up we noticed that this is a 2 story motel. Not a resort like the name or hotel like it’s listed on Expedia. My husband went to look at the beach access before we checked in and it was 10 ft of beach and then dropped off to rocks. The pool is a small fenced area right next to the main road. Check in was ok. Staff was nice. We were in a room on the 2nd floor. Entered the room which was a 1 bedroom. The room was about 15 x 15 that included the bathroom. The air conditioner was a swap cooler. When we went to check for bed bugs we found little small black almost dot sized bugs on the bed. The bed base was wood. The chairs they give you were fancy lawn chairs with straps. After we decided this place was not for us (20 mins) we went and checked out. The desk staff confirmed the bugs were termites. I then contacted Expedia about a refund for misrepresentation. They did not ask me any details questions on why I was requesting a refund. They emailed me updates a couple of times. I asked if they wanted details and they said no. Expedia came back and said the property denied the refund. They also did not refund the parking charge of $85 even though we didn’t stay there. We ended up losing about $850. Having to scramble to find another hotel that had open rooms was super stressful. I wanted to save some people the mess we had to deal with by giving a detailed review so buyers could make up their own minds about the motel.

This is a one of a kind place to stay. My kids loved feeding the sharks, the tortoises, as well as the parrots. Don’t forget everybody must get Stoned! Get to the Stoned crab!!!

The only minor criticism of this wonderful hotel is also a plus. It’s located on the US1 so close to downtown Key West, the road noise is a little intrusive. Of course the owners can do nothing about that. Everything else is fabulous. A beautiful spot by the water with hammocks and palm trees - idyllic. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The seafood restaurant is brilliant and a complimentary continental breakfast a welcome bonus. Take the chance to experience the jet ski tour of the keys. White knuckle stuff but exhilarating. Overall a wonderful stay.

The staff were nice. Quiet and safe just wish it is walkable to the area to watch the sunset. Also, website states there is a shuttle but came in and they don't have the shuttle service anymore. This need to be taken off from the website advertisement.
