Couldn't get any communication from Will, found key in the letterbox but we could not stay there, absolutely disgusting condition, clothes everywhere, mold growing in pots, toothbrushes, used unwashed linen, beds unmade, basically crap everywhere. We could not stay one night in this property, had to book a motel elsewhere.

Terrible - Completely Avoid

Do not book this accommodation. Communication with the host had to be initiated by me as no check-in/check-out details were supplied. The host did not take my call but rather used text message to communicate. Very basic basically saying where the key was. Accomodation was disgusting and not reflective of the price. There was rubbish left in the bin, used personal items and clothing around the property, the lawns were over-grown, dirt.other splatters on the walls, and heaps of dirt and crumbs all over the floor. We contacted the host immediately and informed that we would not be staying as it was unsanitary. While they did apologise, no resolution was offered. We have contacted the platform and put in a formal complaint with photographic evidence

House not even clean. Could NOT stay there!

Back door open, Place dirty, moldy pot on the stove. Men's shoes left there and rubbish bins full. Money was taken from my credit card on booking. No answer from host when reported on arrival. Reported to Stayz for full refund as had to book 2 rooms at a motel instead.

Awful

House was dirty - bed unmade. Fridge is not a proper fridge - no freezer - no microwave - dishwasher smelt of rotten fish and full of dirty dishes. Be prepared to clean everything before you can use. Bathrooms dirty and very little furniture. Home could be beautiful with a little TLC but obviously owner doesn’t care

Absolute disaster

House had not been cleaned Rubbish bin full No bin bags No advice on where to find keys (I had to message the host to ask where I should look for them) There were no keys to be found. Host said he would send someone over with keys. Many emails and phone calls to get someone out to tell us, an hour after check in, to be told by the parents of the host, there are no keys. Had to wait outside for a locksmith to cut new keys. No tea towels No light in bedroom No dining table/chairs Not enough towels Bbq doesn’t work Not enough drinking glasses Frypans filthy. Has been put away with 2cm of grease. We cleaned and used foil in order to use it. Exhaust fan in ensuite won’t turn off unless air conditioning is turned off. Oven absolutely filthy No washing machine (was advertised) No hand towels/ face washers No bath mats Beds un made No fridge/freezer No microwave Negative comments from a year ago contain many of our complaints. Not addressed. Promised a refund for one of the two nights we’re staying by the parents of the host and the host. This house should not be on the Stayz listing. As it was listed with Stayz, I expect the responsibility to be up to you to follow it up. As yet I have not received a refund.

Dirty house with no washing machine or internet

Our family arrived at the house to check in and found it in an extremely dirty and messy state. There were dirty dishes in the kitchen, used soap bars in the bathroom, rubbish in the bathroom cupboards, the floors and benches were not swept, wiped or mopped, there were squished bugs and spiders al throughout the house and off milk in the fridge and old used butter. The fridge is not even actually a real fridge but a cooling display case. There is also no washing machine and no internet which it states on the listing that the property does have. There is no furniture in the house other than the beds and a couch. We try to contact the owner about these issues and got no response at all. Extremely disappointed given the amount of money we paid to stay on a long weekend!

Overall pleasant

Great property however no microwave and fridge was not cold enough and no freezer which caused some problems as we were not aware of this. Apart from that all good.

Nice Property, Poor Service

Booked this property for a couple of nights after Christmas in order to visit family in the area. Was in the area from midday but had to contact host after listed checkin time as had received any details on the check in process. When we arrived at the property found that it had not been cleaned between guests, beds were missing linen, bathrooms had used soaps in showers and shaving razors on benchtops, fridge in kitchen had been turned off with food inside and bench was dirty, one bedroom simply had a mattress on the floor and another had work clothes in the wardrobe. Contacted host again and received apology as "Cleaner was supposed to be in that morning" with a promise to drop off clean linen and towels (which never arrived). The house itself was nice, but underfurnished for it's size. Dining room was completely empty, kitchen was missing a microwave and entire house could use some wall hangings to reduce echoes.
