The place was quiet (off season). Easy beach access. Room included balcony. Pools were fine and everything seemed clean. Breakfast included.

We try to stay here every time we come to OBX. They are so consistently great in all areas. The room was spacious and clean. The patio was cute. clean, and came with a welcome from a very spry ghost crab, Breakfast both mornings was hot and well stocked. My grandson loves the pool.

Conveniently located to the Wright Bros Museum and Jockey Ridge State Park. Nice, clean room with a patio. We were facing the dunes and could just see the ocean and feel a nice breeze. The hot breakfast in the morning was both good, and a blessing, as it saved us time and allowed us to get to the sites earlier. Would definitely stay here again.

The room view of the ocean was excellent. The room itself was great. We actually extended our stay by a day. We were just so pleased with the staff and everything about our stay at Shutters.

As a very loyal and long time frequent customer, I will always recommend Shutters, the property is beautiful, the breakfast is always nice, the Tower rooms are wonderful, however, I am really disappointed in housekeeping services. I asked 3 times for my ocean front room to be cleaned, and it didn't get done until Friday, and I left Saturday. I had no trash bags, no coffee set up and when room was "cleaned" beds ( with no personal items on them) we not even tidied up. I love this place but I truly don't want to have to clean on vacation! My stuff was in drawers and closet mostly, it wasn't a wreck and I didn't feel like I got my money's worth. We will definitely be back, but I hope staffing etc gets back up to speed. Thank u for an otherwise lovely stay !

We loved the private access to the beach, nearby activities, the comfortable beds, spacious bedroom, housekeeping staff, and variety of breakfast options. Some things we didn’t like: the tiny bathroom, limited sink counter space, front desk staff wasn’t very friendly or responsive. I called twice and let it ring no less than 15 times with no answer, so I walked to the desk to make my request. The next two times I called the phone rang about 15 times before it was answered.

Great stay, very friendly staff at check in and check out. Right on the beach with easy access. Lots of shopping and dining options nearby and you can even walk to some. Room is a great size, comfy beds and nice hot showers.

Great location! We were in 3 miles of both Jockey Ridge and the Wrights brother muesum which were our highlights for going. The Hotel itself was a standard beach hotel. Very clean and well mantained. Access to the beach access was amazing! close to good food options. A bit upset that the pool was closed both days we were there and no compesation offered for the total inconvience. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. We got a room with a balcony and enjoyed that.

Have visited this property several times and each time has been nice. When we first arrived, the hot tube was out of service due to a leak. The property was very informative and quickly fixed the problem so guests could enjoy the amenities. Their breakfast is pretty good. Great access to the beach. Great stay.
