“We were in town to see beautiful Westport and visit family in Mayo and Oakleaf was the perfect spot. Spotlessly clean, comfortable en suite bedrooms, kitchen is well appointed, and host Áine is communicative and available for any questions. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!”

“This is a beautiful property with lots of bedrooms for the whole family. We were with our children and grandchildren and the space was perfect for all of us. The kids loved playing in the yard and the views from the front were spectacular.”

“We enjoyed how quiet the property and surrounding area was. Went for a nice long walk and took in the Bay. The Annex has everything you need, besides a tv, but the view from the windows makes up for that. Tea on the back patio in the evening helped us relax after a day of travel. The following morning we had a lovely breakfast in the main house with lively conversation with the owners. They helped us plan our next day of travel. ”

While there may have been small things that would have improved our stay further we were perfectly comfortable and the location was wonderful, whatever the weather. It was also well situated to explore every corner of Co Mayo, everything being within an hour or so drive ”

“A quaint, older home that is great for groups and children. The home was very cleanly. It’s close to the city center. You could walk to town in approximately 25-30 minutes; however, it’s quite hilly and there aren’t walking paths initially. Friendly and fast communication with the host. Had all the amenities we needed. Would stay again!”

“Clifden is a lovely little town. The place was much bigger than expected and we all had plenty of space to stretch out. We did have a snafu with one of the internets, but it was explained that the place downstairs is remodeling and likely cut the line. The other WiFi worked great! Shower pressure was a little light, but nothing that was terrible. Overall, we would definitely rent this place again and stay for much longer next time in Clifden!!”
