“Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might……

“Pat and Maura were wonderful. They were very good with timely and informational communication. The cottage was charming, clean, well stocked, and exactly what we were expecting. Pat met us when we arrived and showed us around. We loved our stay there and we were able to drive to many different tourist sites/interests from this location. It was also close to food, groceries, and fuel.”

“The house was fabulous, the history amazing and the hosts couldn't have done more for us.We were three generations (12 of us) travelling to show the grandchildren the wonders of their grandfather's homeland and the Castle House at the Barracks was a perfect base for our stay in this part of Ireland. It was close enough to many of the things that we wanted to see, from Bunratty Castle, the Aran Islands, Craggaunowen, the Cliffs of Mohar and the seaside. Thanks so much Marion.”
