My second stay at Hotel Killarney, and it feels like my home-away-from-home in Killarney. Fantastic staff, huge and nice rooms, great pool and exercise facilities, nice dining and restaurant options, big and good buffet breakfast included, lots of free parking on site. The only downside is that it is about a 30 minute walk to downtown Killarney and there's no shuttle option. But, to be fair, AFAIK, no other hotels runs shuttles to downtown Killarney, and the city doesn’t have any public transport either.

C'est un joli hôtel et accueillant ! Les équipements extérieurs sont tops, l'emplacement est très bien car il y a tout le nécessaire à proximité (superette, station service, restaurants, transport...). Au sein de l'hôtel il y a des animations et des équipements pour les enfants, un hôtel bien adapté aux familles ! Les chambres mériteraient juste un petit rafraîchissement. Sinon nous recommandons 😊.

We stayed in this hotel for only one night so this is a very limited review. I know it is advertised that it is good for families but it was definitely filled with children, strollers, noise, etc. so if I ever go back, I’ll try a different hotel just for a little less noise and crowds. The breakfast was very good though!

We arrived in our room to find stained bed sheets. We immediately called down and they were very quick to send someone up to replace them. After the porter left, i went to use the bathroom and found pee on seat, hair in toilet bowl. There was also hair in shower as it had not been cleaned either. They gave us another room but horrible first impression. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Hotel restaurant excellent but pricey.

Lots of noise , unfortunately we had an adjoining room and beside an exit door . Also , the fire exit door didnt work all of the time . The mag lock would let us out and we mentioned it to hitel staff several times and it was never fixed which could have been a life safety issue . Kids running up and down the hallway

Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit einem bequemen Bett und konnten das Fenster weit öffnen. Das haben wir als sehr positiv empfunden. Das Frühstück hingegen war negativ. Am ersten Morgen war Schlange stehen angesagt und das Personal war wegen der Menschenmenge überfordert. Die Abgabe einer individuellen Bestellung war schlicht unmöglich. Am zweiter Morgen waren wir deutlich später frühstücken. Das war entspannt, leider wurden viele Waren nicht nachgelegt: es gabt kein Brot mehr sondern nur noch Toast und Marmeladen waren ausgegangen.

No A\C and it was unseasonably warm! But a fan was provided and we were SO grateful. The staff was friendly. For some reason our fresh towels were just thrown on the floor however. I would go back for another stay.

The rooms themselves were perfectly fine for a few nights, but each floor has additional stairs to get to your room (even after you've stepped off the elevator). This is a very family friendly hotel, so there were a lot of loud children and amenities catered towards them. Staff was kind, and it was a quick drive to downtown Killarney.
