Beautiful setting on the lake . Walkable to Killarney national Park/ muckross House and Gardens which were outstanding . Delirious food on the premises . But.. be aware they do not have air conditioning ( perhaps the top deluxe rooms only ?) . Their wood view room looked into the parking lot ( get a lake view if able ) and be aware you need to reserve in advance to use any of the spa area /pool. It would have been helpful to receive an email / text from the hotel but there wasn’t any communication of that sort provided . Small item but .. their rooms do not have usb ports for phone charging like all the rest of the places we stayed ( nice to have your converter used for other items ) .

This was our favourite stop of our honeymoon around Ireland. The property is breathtaking, the food is delicious with lots of options, and the staff there is top notch. Shout out to Megan at the front desk, she was fantastic and incredibly helpful and friendly. We will certainly recommend this hotel to everyone we know and plan to come back again! Cheers

We were very shocked and disappointed that they swapped our booked lake view room to a no visitor ew ordinary room and charged us the same price for the lake view room. After so many hours driving we thoroughly got we came to a zen resting place. After Expedia’s partial help they “upgrade” us to a large parking lot view room and eventually next night to a “lake view” in the far far end. Can’t say how stressed we were. Sad

This property had the dreamiest vistas of old castle ruins by the lake. The hotel bar and restaurants offered many options, including items for vegetarians. Close proximity to Muckross Abbey and Estate. Above and beyond expectations!

We stayed here for 6 days and I can honestly say the staff went out of their way to make everything a very pleasant experience . The restaurant food was excellent, the breakfast was good with many choices , the pub served well made drinks and nicely poured pints. Seeing the local deer herd was a bonus. The Muckross Abbey is within walking distance. The jaunting carts do pick ups at the hotel. Killarney center is s stone throw away. I can recommend!!
