“If you want a taste of true rural Ireland, this is the place to stay. The Thatch and the Shed are both beautiful, modern, clean and highly kept up. We used this property as our home base for day trips to Kilkenny, Callan, Waterford, Wexford, Glendalough, Blarney Castle, and Kilarney. ”

“Nice facilities, well furnished and well kept. We were very comfortable. Only hitch was no internet in the house so working with a computer was not possible. connectivity for mobile was spotty. But we managed. And we had a comfortable stay. Owner was very nice and helpful. ”

“Insgesamt hinterließ die Unterkunft mit ihrer schönen und ruhigen Lage einen zufriedenstellenden Eindruck. Abstriche gab es lediglich in der vorhergegangenen Kommunikation mit der Agentur, welche über diese Seite schlicht komplett ignoriert worden ist. Ebenfalls als negativ ist noch der Warmwasserbehälter zu verzeichnen, welcher über dem Bett thronte. Dieser wird leider mit dem Nachbarhaus geteilt und erzeugt eine intensive Geräuschkulisse, sofern eine Dusche benutzt wird. Dazu gesellen sich……

“The Meadow View Farmhouse was a dream come true. Eamonn was an awesome host. He met us at the house with a wealth of information about the area and even booked us a visit to a local castle viewing. The attention to detail that he has put into refurbishing this old farmhouse is phenomenal. The views surrounding the house were spectacular! We even got to experience a local farmer moving his cattle from one pasture to another on the road in front of the house. A true Irish gem and we will……

“Stayed for a family’s anniversary, such a lovely place to stay, had fresh scones and cakes with butter and milk for us on arrival and all the things we needed for a cup of tea or coffee. Well equipped with toiletries and lovely and warm. ”

“Just loved our stay here. The apartment was so cozy and clean. Felt completely at home instantly. Had everything anyone needed while on vacation. Close to Kilkenny which has abundance of attractions.”

“This was a very lovely house, however there was an oil leak with a VERY STRONG ODOR !! This odor gave me a headache. The owner was aware of this problem because her son came over shortly after we arrived, said that they would get someone out to repair it but after 4 nights it was not repaired.. The electric tea kettle had so much red liquid sediment in it I was afraid to use it .. The liquid hand soap dispenser was almost empty in the bathroom. No extra toilet paper was provided.”
