“Highly recommend this charming townhouse in Portree. Attractive living room and well-designed kitchen downstairs, with two comfortable bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. The location is unbeatable -- a 5-minute walk takes you to the town center for shops, pubs and groceries. Another few minutes takes you right to the harbour and more. Perfect launch point for trips up the Trotternish peninsula and over to the Cuillin mountains. The owner was very responsive and helpful, even sending us a heads-up……

“Lovely property!! As gorgeous as pictured and so relaxing to look out at the water. Property was very clean and had all the essentials. Check in was very easy and when we had trouble figuring out the stove the company answered the phone straight away and explained it. The only negative I would note is that the location in the Harbor is a little less luxurious than the house. The houses next door have oils of garbage and furniture in their gardens. ”

I loved the one small bedroom upstairs whose window looks out over the beautiful landscape outside. Lorraine made us feel most welcome. It’s a bit of a drive out to reach the house, but so very worth it. We even had a rainbow and a full harvest moon while we were there. ”

“What a unique and fabulous property. Huge and comfortable in a spectacular setting. Great local restaurant down the road is a must. ”

“Beautiful location! What a view! Quiet and away from the crowds. Grocery store was near by and convenient. Newly renovated. Comfortable. Loved the small wood stove for fires. Very cozy. Kitchen is superb with everything you need provided.”

“The cottage was just a pictured - quaint, well appointed, cozy, and quite. Our hostess was very pleasant, providing us a warm welcome and suggestions for dining and visits. We wanted to be a bit out of the way as we visited the Isle of Skye and this location/cottage checked all boxes. It was not located in Portree but close enough for groceries, dining, etc. We chose to stay in most nights and the kitchen provided a wonderful array of equipment/dishes to cook meals for ourselves at night and……
