“We stayed in this property on Mother’s Day weekend and again in late November. Brought the grandkids the 2nd time and they loved the pool table! We also played blackjack at the blackjack table. Wonderful view of the lake, grass and a nice beach. Will come back again! ”

“The were a lot of positive things about the property. The location was great, right between Northstar and King’s Beach. It was big and looked better than the pictures in real life. The kitchen was a good size and was well-equipped. However, it definitely needed some TLC. The spout in the bathroom kept falling off and the pull out bed was broken. The mattress had to be put on the floor to use. When I contacted the company they were responsive but there was inconsistent follow through from……

“Plenty of space for a get together. Went down from MN and had California families come in. Had plenty of space for everyone to enjoy and sleep. Location was great. Close to plenty of stores and restaurants. Walking distance to the lake ”

“My family and I have been renting through VRBO for the past 7 years and this stay was our best yet. The host, Ginger, was absolutely incredible. Instructions were very clear and plentiful, she had food and drinks already available for us in the fridge when we arrived and had a box full of toys and so many books to read! “Just the right amount of space and amenities for two. Great kitchen, cozy furniture all around. Slightly disappointed that the loft was blocked off during our stay (as it looks accessible in the pictures), but it ultimately didn't factor into our enjoyment. The best part of the cabin was that upon checking in, the fireplace and the hot tub were ALREADY running and ready to go. Instant warmth and comfort. Would happily come back to this cozy cabin in the future.”

“Nice place with a lot of character. There’s some minor damage around the place (holes in walls, leaking around the windows with water damage, etc) that could be fixed. The hot tub was a little cloudy and low in water level. The host was very kind and responsive and overall the stay was great. Fantastic location.”

The roomy cabin is the best stocked of any place we have ever stayed, down to the milk frother in the coffee-making area, and the outdoor towels for wiping paws of canine companions.
