“The cottage was just what a family of 4 needed. Very nice accommodations and responsive host. ”

“What a great spot. Photos don’t do it justice. Open floor plan on first floor, whole place tidy and comfortable. Such a private and relaxing view above the lake, from two different levels, the patio, and then the large upper deck. We saw turtles, heron, fireflies, and the fish were jumping. There’s a covered portion of the dock with a picnic table, and a separate floating dock with a swim ladder. Jumping in the lake is recommended!”

“Wonderful stay. Quiet cove. House has a great layout - master down with three bedrooms upstair. Very clean . Very organized. Nice dock as well as small private beach that provided shade at times during the day. ”

“We had an amazing time. Home just as descried. We spent the days on the dock, swimming, fishing, just sitting a talking. We watched fireworks light up the night from the dock. The house was big enough for the 9 of us. The screened porch was a great place to relax. The view was incredible. The location was great. Close to stores. We ate at Sweet Waters. Food and service were on point. ”

“Birdsong is an adorable cottage & perfect place for me to stay while in town for several weeks. We were lucky that the flowers on the property were blooming so it was extra pretty! The cottage is close to uptown and 74, and is the perfect size for two people! Marywinn was wonderful and easy to deal with, quick to communicate and I highly recommend her property if you're staying in Shelby! ”

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house, beautiful view and fishing from the dock, apartment was super nice and modern and had awesome central air which was great after spending the day out in the warm sun!! “From scheduling to checkout everything was an easy experience. The cottage was cute, clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect and the neighborhood was nice and well maintained. We didn’t have any complaints or concerns during our stay. Response from the host was quick at all times. We would definitely recommend this cottage if you are staying in the area.
