“This was our first time staying in LaPorte Indiana. The apartment was in the perfect location to visit places in Michigan, Indiana Dunes National Park or a day trip to Chicago. The apartment was very clean and well equipt. The one bedroom was large and had loads of storage. The area where the apartment is located is quiet and there is a small pond complete with a Swan to visit you! You can catch the Shoreline train at the Carroll Ave Station, which is a 10 minute drive away. I would highly……

“The only drawback was Air conditioning. It was extremely hot out and at night the bedrooms got a little warm. Loved the room for the family. For an older lake home, I was amazed at solid floors with no squeaks. Family loved the game room and games and toys, as well as the hot tub.”

“Absolute perfection! So glad we decided to start our vacation a day early! Found this on VRBO complete with rescue animals, a pond, multiple acres of flowers and greenery, 2 Airstreams, and our rental loft atop the vintage Blue Barn. We spent the day at Lake Michigan, then came back to the property to relax. We had a bonfire and made s'mores to top off the evening. The following morning it was time to travel to our intended vacation in Traverse City, Michigan. The owners were outside working……

“Everything was perfect!Very clean and neat. The instructions for checking-in were very clear and every thing was setup and ready Towels, foldable chairs to take to the beach. Internet, etc. We just arrived and there was nothing that we needed, even charcoal for the grill. The host is very responsive, but we barely contacted him as nothing was needed. Excellent place to stay worry free if you like a quiet neighborhood where you can rest. We will return!”
