“We were in town for a soccer tournament and chose this listing since we wanted to bring our two smallish dogs. The house was clean (especially for pet friendly place) when we checked in but I immediately had an eww moment when I found a washcloth on the edge of the shower with some hair on it. I think it must have been left by cleaning crew. Furniture was clean and positioned well for comfort and the smaller space. “The Watauga River Cabins is a truly unique gem! The photos don't do it justice... it was larger than expected and the views of the river with fly fishing float boats causing by was spectacular. We were in town to visit my brother and his family for the Nascar race at Bristol, which was a short drive and came back to grill some steaks on the grill and have a campfire on the large back patio area while soaking in the scenery. I also fly fish and we were able o book a float trip with High Country……
