“Overall nice stay in the showboat room. Couple things though to mention include that the heat thermostat did not seem to work. We like it a little warmer so we turned it up a bit but the temperature did not change in the room and nor did we hear the heat kick on at all during our stay. It wasn't cold, but it wasn't ideal either -also they only give you a very thin quilt type blanket which during the winter isn't quite enough for me. “Charming set of colocated buildings make up this Inn. I stayed in the Painted Lady building. The ceiling fan in my room did not work and I mentioned this to the owner. I think he just got busy and forgot to address it. Opening the windows helped keep it comfortable though. Note that the two restaurants on site were not open on Monday or Tuesday so dinner options must be found elsewhere. Luckily there are several decent restaurants within a few minutes drive. ”

“Firstly we’d like to say that the photos do not do the property justice. The place is in a lovely setting surrounded by Cranberry Ponds. “This beach house was perfect for our family! Scituate is a cute little town and about an hour train ride into Boston. The house was clean and well stocked.
