We waited for 30 minutes to check in since several others seemed to be having difficulty and frustrations in their check in process. We were finally assigned a room, but discovered that our shower did not work. We were told that we would have to wait for about 30 minutes to get a room with a working shower. Two hours went by, and I tried several times to ask about their progress, but I was told that they were very busy with other customers and to go back to my room. The manager had my sympathy initially, but he quickly turned on me with snide comments and completely unprofessional behavior, telling me that he would solve my problem, "in 15 minutes or maybe two hours, but that it might take three hours," if "I stood in front of him instead of going back to my room so he could work."
