“An excellent little lodge for 2 down a short walk from the local village. The place was superbly equipped with everything needed for our stay. Only slight problem - the sofas and chairs were a little too low to the ground! Otherwise it was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay.”

“Nice house looking out onto beautiful little beach. A lot of sheep which meant little lambs everywhere this time of year. Friendly neighbours! Tip: go to Handa (approx. 45 min. drive) for a very special hike on this remote bird island.”

“Zuerst waren wir etwas von der abseitige Lage des Hauses und der Siedlung in Rispond. Nach Betreten der Ferienwohnung waren wir aber sehr angenehm überrascht. Leider kamen wir fast nie ins Netz, um Kontakt mit zu Hause in Deutschland aufzunehmen. Der Gastgeber, der uns persönlich begrüßte war sehr freundlich und erklärte uns alles. Wer Natur und Ruhe schätzt, der ist hier richtig. Zudem ist man in wenigen Minuten in Durness.”

“Beautiful location, sunrises & views were breathtaking. Lucky enough to watch a dolphin & calf playing in the bay one day as well as lots of sea birds including the Gannets diving for their catch. Could be absolutely perfect but was slightly let down by cleanliness of the property & no double bed in any of the bedrooms. Despite that would definitely recommend & would stay again if holidaying in the area.”
