“Late Oct 2024 Karen was so nice and gave us very accurate information on hiking areas nearby. It was also easy to check in. The cabin was cute and clean. We spent a lot of time by the fireplace while enjoying the view of the lake. The kitchen was fully stacked. Was even provided fresh water, coal for the grill, and firewood for the pit. We would definitely stay again. ”

“We rented this home the past weekend for an early Easter celebration. We had 7 adults and a 1 1/2 year old child that stayed at the house. My parents, who live 3 miles away, came to visit. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed all the amenities. The host was very responsive. Very close to Giants Ridge. It was nice that they had a secure baby gate in the house but note, if you have young children the outside area was a little hard. That being said, it is early spring. Would definitely rent this……

“It was such a cozy, beautiful property. We loved the sauna- it was so clean. I wish we could have stayed longer! It would have been nice to have a picnic table, but in the grand scheme of things that's minor and we made it work. It was a wonderful couple days relaxing.”

“The Castle House is an eclectic place to stay. The game room looks like a former biker bar, not that that’s a problem. An old Harley is even hanging on the wall. Beautiful back yard with bright green ivy and tall redwood trees. Even an old tractor covered in ivy. Kitchen completely decked out. No need to bring a thing. We wish the weather could have been better to enjoy the beautiful patio redwood decks. ”

“Cozy little cabin with great lake view. A few appliance upgrades (stove and microwave), fix toilet and living room curtain, and add Wi-Fi and this place would be perfect.”
