“Maybe the best hotel in town, but more by lack of serious competition. Rooms are good and very clean, view on Congo river is very nice. High end rooms offer no additional superficy nor comfort, just access to a very poor lounge, so absolutely not worth the additional charge. Pool, parking and restaurants are of the expected level. BUT: prices for drinks and meals are outrageous. 7USD for a small bottle of water, 5 USD for an expresso, 50 USD for breakfast, 90USD for a bottle of poor Chablis wine……

“C’est un hôtel avec des équipements très vieil, dans la chambre, il y toujours un odeur de remugle, et ça sens très fort aussi après le nettoyage de chambre, car les gens ne sèchent jamais la terre, on voit désinfectant par terre. Et l’expérience de douche est mauvaise, c’est anti-humanité, la zone de douche est étroite, on peut changer la direction très limitée, et la cours est tout petite, et particulièrement, la zone n’est pas bien fermée, l’eau est partout après la douche dans le toilette,……

“Property ok but area very dirty ”

“Good hotel. Love the room. Enough storage. Best gym I’ve seen in a hotel. Not much to do on property. A hotel like this deserves a pool. I would have liked another seating area reserved for guests only. Great staff, thanks to Dorcas who works on the 3rd floor, very lovely. And thanks to Simons at the buffet. Overall a very good experience. I extended my stay. ”

“The property was top class and the staff especially Sharon, was very professional. The only downside was the fact that many people who don’t stay there tend to create an atmosphere of olmost intimidation. They are starting at you straight in the eyes, I don’t know if they are security staff or what they call in Kinshasa, ANR agents? Very unsettling. They are everywhere! Around the pool, lobby,looking at you as if they are investigating you… really I felt unsafe…”
