“Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase.……

“Lovely property. The owner is very attentive and happy to assist. The cottage is located in a great spot for touring the area. It has all the amenities and comforts for a wonderful stay. It’s located on a nice quiet road and yet isn’t far from everything you need. The beds are amazingly comfy! We really loved being able to make peat fires in the evening. The kitchen is fully equipped and check in/out was super quick and easy. ”

We enjoyed a drink on the patio area behind the annexe & Luis was very helpful with ice for us, as well as driving & parking recommendations. “It was a little tough to find the place, but once I did the stay was great. The owner lives in a new house on the lake and rents out the bottom floor to guests. James was very helpful in getting me settled. Everything is new and up to date. The place is a couple miles outside Oughterard village so you probably need a car to best enjoy the place ”
