“The provided facilities, in terms of the fridge shack etc could do with updating and the site is a lot smaller than anticipated so we were greatful of only one other pod being occupied.
Had there have been others there, there wouldn’t have been much privacy at all. Coat hooks being on the same wall as the plugs/shelf etc meant coats hanging over the kettle , but the pod itself was lovely and clean, amazingly comfortable bed.
The toilets and shower blocks were very well kept and clean. Perfect……

“I’ve stayed here a few times and it is always good value for money and easy to use, the communication with the host is good and the different choice of rooms is good. Free parking is available overnight a few minutes walk away after 6pm. Place is always clean and quiet.”

Bedrooms could benefit from curtains or black out blinds and the fire doors bang in other apartments which is quite noisey, but we have been twice & wouldnt hesitate to go back!”

“The apartment was very well fitted out, the staff were lovely very helpful, it is a little far from town and took us a while to find the local supermarket, maybe some instructions on how to work the job and parking was an issue, we went out for the day and had to park quite a walk away, but on the whole we loved it and were very comfortable 😊”

“needed a well needed rest after a busy year.After a long search of hotels around york we found this beautiful cottage just outside york,and needless to say it was just what we needed.lovely cottaged estate.we booked the 3 bedroomed cottage,fairview i think it was called.beautiful inside and out.no expense spared on the inside,very relaxing.we are already thinking about booking next year.would highly recommend.”

“I booked this on the strength of it's rating but found that a few things weren't quite right... Examples:
The door did not lock from the inside, there is an Ill fitting bolt on the door but the key was misaligned with the handle so could not be properly locked,
The bathroom window did not close fully,
There were a few cobwebs throughout the rooms and some dirt around the cupboard handle in the bathroom it had clearly only very briefly been cleaned

“The property was adequate for our needs but the whole place needed a thorough clean and some tlc. Garden furniture was in poor condition and only 4 chairs outside for a property that accommodates 14. Plenty of plates and cutlery, cups and glasses. Don’t think we’ll be going again. ”
