“As a retired maintenance director for 2 Choice Gold Award properties, I found the Keyser Inn an excellent property considering it's age and location. My wife and I had a great stay with no issues and the staff were perfect. “What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. I wish we had booked more than one night so we could have taken advantage of the amenities, like the kayaking and boat tour. It rained the one night we were there, so we didn't get to do either. The room was absolutely incredible and very clean. It had a whirlpool tub, gas fireplace, and a view of the lake. “We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. We had to place a folder to block the view! 3. It was very hot in the room! Good for this winter weather if course, but was hard to……
