“We had a wonderful time staying at the Amnicon lodge! Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property. I did not see this listed in the description, but it wasn’t really an issue for us; just good information for future guests!”

“Superior house retreat was a great place to stay for our family. Location is close to hiking and Duluth, and easy to navigate. Everyone's beds were comfortable. Ping pong table was a big hit. (We brought our own paddles and balls.) Kitchen was large so easy to work in for multiple helping hands. Duluth coffee to start was very much appreciated! Sauna is large and works for a good sweat if that is your thing. Yard area was recently mowed which was a relief so as to cut down on any concerns there.……

“The Barnum Suite met our needs perfectly. The suite is spacious and well laid out, with a nice sitting area, a dressing area, and a large bathroom with a big Jacuzzi tub. The public areas are nice and the breakfast pastries were great. Because there is a refrigerator and microwave in the suite's dressing area, we could heat up breakfast items to have with the pastries and not have to go out for breakfast.”

“The property is beautiful and quiet. This room was in the carriage house, which did get pretty warm at night, but was otherwise comfortable. Would stay again!”

“We loved the room! Our one issue was we left a weighted blanket and called the next day. They told us they would have to check on it and when they found it it would be a 25 fee on top of shipping/handling even though we were still in the area and could have easily gone back to just pick it up. Overall, though, we recommend! ”

Beautiful homes everywhere in the neighborhoods. Will stay again. Make sure you read your orientation email when booking, as it has instructions for entry into the building. ”
