“If you want a taste of true rural Ireland, this is the place to stay. The Thatch and the Shed are both beautiful, modern, clean and highly kept up. We used this property as our home base for day trips to Kilkenny, Callan, Waterford, Wexford, Glendalough, Blarney Castle, and Kilarney. ”

“House was fantastic - immaculately clean and well-equipped. They had really thought about our arrival with the heating already on so it was lovely and warm. There was also a number of "welcome" items (box of cereal, milk, coffee teabags, biscuits and a lovely bottle of wine). Plenty of towels, Shower was excellent - easy to use, good pressure and lovely and hot.”

“Stayed for a family’s anniversary, such a lovely place to stay, had fresh scones and cakes with butter and milk for us on arrival and all the things we needed for a cup of tea or coffee. Well equipped with toiletries and lovely and warm. ”

“This was a very lovely house, however there was an oil leak with a VERY STRONG ODOR !! This odor gave me a headache. The owner was aware of this problem because her son came over shortly after we arrived, said that they would get someone out to repair it but after 4 nights it was not repaired.. The electric tea kettle had so much red liquid sediment in it I was afraid to use it .. The liquid hand soap dispenser was almost empty in the bathroom. No extra toilet paper was provided.”
