“It started badly. It took 4 attempts to get check in details via 3 different people. Then, when we arrived at the admittedly charming location, things unravelled further. the very first thing that hit us was a fusty smell of neglect as we opened the door. We do not think the description or the website is accurate. Far from being - as promised - a charming holiday cottage with a warm and cosy atmosphere - it is a rundown, cramped, shabby bungalow in desperate need of maintenance. The woodwork……

Des plages où l'on est quasiment seuls avec une mer de carte postale- où vous pouvez vous rendre très facilement à pied. Les propriétaires vous accueillent avec une profusion de produits locaux de qualité et un souci permanent de votre bien-être ! Nous n'attendons que d'y retourner ! “Terrible experience: shower is tiny and water floods everywhere. Two dead bugs in it. Pillows are small and extremely thick, as the mattresses are. It was impossible to sleep properly. AC working very badly: noisy and leaking water on our heads while trying to catch sleep. We left after one day, despite 5 night booking. Not nice losing the money, but we didn’t want to have our vacation ruined. Expedia agent was very kind and efficient to help us, we can’t say the same with the property owner.……

“We absolutely loved our stay at this home. It was a slice of paradise. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. We were allowed to go into the house early and leave late. The Mani area is just such a beautiful region of Greece and this was the perfect place to base ourselves as we discovered and experience it all. I loved sitting in all the different outdoor spaces to enjoy the different views at different times of the day--special spots……
