“The property itself could not have been better - easy to find and access after a long day's driving, warm and comfortable. The surrounds could not have been more disappointing. We knew from several previous days of disappointment that it was shoulder season on the West Coast, but could you please not pretend that local restaurants are open until 10pm when they laugh at anybody asking for dinner at 8pm. I mean we had learned by Monday that 10pm clearly was not true, but we foolishly assumed……

“Situated just off the beach, our stay was very private and our hosts quite personable. Lots of room and a great find! ”

“We stayed here as stop between the north and Alps of the South Island. The host left great instructions, but I did struggle to find bins and guide for the kitchen. It was very comfortable, with great wifi and all you need. Exactly what we wanted!”

We were travelling with a small puppy and were having difficulty finding somewhere dog friendly. Riverview was a great option, very comfortable and we appreciate the host allowing us to have a dog stay too. Shame we were passing through and only had 1 night”

“Lovely huge house nestled in the woods. Easy walking distance to Avalanche Peak and Devil's Punchbowl walking tracks. Be sure to use firewood from the woodshed, the outdoor wood is often wet.”
