“It was an incredible experience to live alone in an abandoned village in Mani. You feel far away from everything and it is a nice feeling. The nearest beach is about 25 minutes driving. The house is always fresh downstairs in the main bedroom. For the persons who like to hike, unfortunately, a fire occured in august 2021 so it is not very pleasant to walk in the countryside around. Mosquitoes could be a challenge also sometimes during the evening (even in the house). The views from the house are……

Our stay at Mrs. Katerina’s beautiful home in East Mani was absolutely incredible. She is truly the best host we’ve ever had – attentive, kind, and ready to take care of any need. Her home is unique, full of charm, and immaculately kept.

“We spent a week at the Mani House in August, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The house was far more stylish, elegant, spacious and comfortable that we had imagined. It is beautifully built, and immaculately maintained. I am surprised that it has anything less than five-star reviews.
The pictures do not do justice to the interior, or even to the views. The view to the sea is stunning, as depicted, but there are also lovely views over the nearby village and to the mountains……

“Simple, rustic building with loads of charm and character. Nice hot shower, warm cosy bedrooms with comfortable beds. Right in the middle of the village with the taverna opposite. We had a great dinner there and walked back down our cobbled path to our stone hideaway. The entire village is very scenic with stone towers and cobbled streets wherever you turn. Will try to visit this area again!”

“An amazing home in the Peloponnese! This is a great home for a family. There is lots of room, the kids enjoyed the pool, 10 minutes from nearby Gythio which has great restaurants and shopping right on the water, as well as surrounding beaches!! Highly recommend this home !!”
