“I took my crew to wannette to work at Soggy Bottoms Trails. This cottage was located about five minutes from there and was perfect to house my employees for the night. It was very clean and well kept. The host was very responsive when I had questions and even accommodated an early check in for us. I highly recommend this property.”

We specifically wanted a rural rental where we could watch storms without the city lights and noise drowning out the storm - or simply to enjoy peace and quiet away from the city. The best part about this property is the tornado shelter right on the property. Considering the location (high tornado risk) I felt like this amenity definitely needed to be highlighted. “Cabin was very comfortable, clean and homey. The bedroom was roomy with a very comfortable bed. There was a large, full size hot water heater which provided more than adequate hot water! Wooded area with access to backwaters of the lake was lovely. Overall very wonderful experience. Only negative: it was very hard to find initially; asked for directions at Sinclair station in Stratford and they were familiar with property and gave us great directions. I would highly recommend this property!”
